For the 2024 audition cycle, you will need to prepare the song and a scene (side) that are provided for you here on our website. Please click the link below that is appropriate for your age group (elementary age group is finishing first grade through fifth grade). There you will find the song choice(s) and readings that will be used during auditions. You should practice the song and reading at home so you can really show off when you perform at auditions. If you choose a reading that includes another character, one of the directors will read with you. We are looking forward to singing and acting with you!
Rehearsals begin June 3rd and run through July 25th.
Elementary rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9 - 10:30 am. Music rehearsals will be held on Thursdays. Rehearsals will be held in the evening after July 4th. Rehearsal days will vary depending on what part you are playing.
Middle School/High School rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. Music rehearsals will be held on Thursdays. Rehearsals will be held in the evening after July 4th. Rehearsal days will vary depending on what part you are playing.
Performances: July 26-27
Fee: $50
TECH WEEK: The last week of the rehearsal process is called Tech Week (July 22-25). Actors must attend all rehearsals and performances during this week.
ABSENCES: We understand that you will have vacations and camps to enjoy this summer in addition to ACT. In order to be in our show, you are asked to miss no more than 2 weeks of rehearsals. Everyone must attend Tech Week.
