We will be following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). You must follow all posted instructions while attending ACT Theatre Company Auditions/Rehearsals/Performances.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By participating in ACT Theatre Company’s summer program, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures (4/5/21)
Participants are asked to remain in their cars until they are called into the building.
Masks will be worn by the actor and the production team.
Social distancing will be observed during the audition.
All paperwork will be made available on this website, so that you may fill it out at home and deliver it to auditions.
Face masks must be worn during rehearsals.
Group rehearsals will be held outdoors in the North Park Pavilion.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available at all rehearsals and performances.
The cast will not congregate backstage. * Alternative entrances will be used when possible * An outdoor space will be established at the rear of the Pavilion to serve as a Green Room.
Rehearsal will consist of the Director, Music Director, Stage Manager, and 12-15 cast members at a time.
Small group/solo rehearsals (3-6 people) may be held indoors, and social distancing will be observed.
Props and costumes will be assigned to individuals and kept in locations designated to that specific person. Props and costumes will not be shared.
New seating policies will be put into place and announced in June.
Audience members will be asked to wear masks and use seating as ticketed and marked.
The 2021 performance will be live-streamed for people who would prefer to enjoy our performances from home.
